History

History

Lo Straniero is mysterious like certain days at the end of September. He has clear eyes that change colour in the wood. Follow him and he will show you the place of the wild strawberries, as well as the one where you hid your greatest secret: he will teach you how to not feel afraid.

Method

Winemaking

After the pressing process, cold pre-fermentative maceration. Fermentation at a temperature of around 22-25°C with cultured yeasts. Wine completes its maturation in second and third-fill barrels for 12 months.
Blending, light clarification and final filtration.

Aroma

The five senses

Ruby-red colour with sour black cherry shades. Noble and elegant taste with fruity and spicy notes filling the mouth. Well-balanced and with fine acidity. Sweet tannins mean a long finish. Particularly varietal fragrance, with long finish of marasca cherry and red fruits jam.
